We have an exciting opportunity for a Commissioning Editor for European travel content to join the London publishing team. You’ll be responsible for commissioning authors for print, digital and mobile travel products, creative input into titles, management of the commissioning process from costing and concept planning to submission to production and maximising the profitability of your list. You’ll also maintain a high degree of European travel and trend knowledge, ensuring that market and financial factors inform content development.

You’ll be well-organised, creative, commercial, analytical and adaptable with proven editorial skills. You’ll have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), lots of initiative and the ability to work independently.

A passion for travel is essential and relevant travel experience and knowledge of European destinations will be highly valued.
