Our client is a leading global developer and publisher of standards across a very diverse range of sectors, including manufacturing, technology, construction, governance and risk. This role requires some one with experience to identify and develop new product opportunities. Working closely with key individuals in specific sector groups and target client groups, you will research current and potential market demand, identify gaps in the market and opportunities for new standards products and services, help formulate product business plans and contribute to their subsequent development and launch.

You will have a product development / publishing back ground from professional or STM publishing. You will need excellent market research, communications and project management skills, coupled with the commercial vision to spot opportunities and the diplomatic skills to see them through to launch as commercially viable products. You will also need the communications skills to operate in a matrix environment where there could often be multiple stakeholders and interest groups requiring careful cultivation to gain the necessary buy-in for new product initiatives.

These roles would particularly suit an experienced Publisher with a strong focus on building and launching new products and sound commercial skills in evaluating market demand and making a considered business case for new product development.
