A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to join the rights department of one of the UK’s leading and well-respected publishers of literary fiction as Permissions Controller.

This is a pivotal and responsible role in the rights department, and would involve a variety of duties including:

• Handling estates of well-known literary authors, fostering existing relationships with the executors of these estates, and working closely with well-known authors and their representatives
• The responsibility for processing permission applications that regularly come through to the company – these rights are used across a wide variety of media from film to theatre as well as other print formats

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with relevant experience handling and processing permissions or from a relevant publishing background to take on a responsible role and work with material from literature’s most prominent authors.
