We are seeking candidates for the role of Junior Editor to work on popular fiction titles. Our client, a long-established and successful publishing company some 35 minutes from Victoria (reverse commute) is looking for a further editorial team member who can work efficiently on the line editing, proof collation and efficient throughput of manuscripts and jacket copy.
The successful candidate will also undertake administrative tasks to support the editorial department generally and will have direct contact with authors which will require excellent communication skills and a positive enjoyment of dealing with people.This is an excellent opportunity and would suit someone with a minimum of one year\'s experience (more experience would be positively welcomed and used appropriately), ideally in a large house and working on popular fiction titles. It will suit someone who is seeking to consolidate editorial skills and who is keen and ready to take on more responsibility for specific titles. - Contact:
