Huveaux confirms August Equity talks
12.11.07 Alison Flood
Letts owner Huveaux confirmed this morning that it is in "detailed discussions" with August Equity about a possible offer. The news follows Huveaux's announcement last month that it had received "preliminary approaches" from a number of private equity houses.
In a statement, Huveaux said: "Discussions are continuing and due diligence has commenced. However, there remains no certainty that an offer will be made, nor as to the level at which any offer might be made, should it be forthcoming."
It added that a further announcement would be made in due course, "as appropriate".
