First sight of Waterstone's Sony shop
Waterstone's has today officially launched its Sony Reader store after news of the September launch of the device leaked early yesterday (Wednesday 23rd July). The store, which can be viewed at the following link, http://www.waterstones.com/waterstonesweb/navigate.do?pPageID=1576, offers the Reader for pre-order at £199, with a further incentive of 500 bonus points for Waterstone's Cardholders.
Despite the leak, the news has generated a raft of newspaper articles, including featuring as the Independent's "Big Question", and in the Telegraph's "Best Buy" column.
A link to the store is also on the Waterstone's home page. Waterstone's marketing writes: "A stylish modern classic - the super slim Reader from Sony comes in stylish brushed aluminium. If you want to personalise, enhance or protect your Reader a range of cases and other extras are available."
