Crowley joins Curtis Brown
03.09.08 Benedicte Page
Sheila Crowley has left A P Watt to join Curtis Brown, taking the majority of her authors with her. Crowley, who moved from Hodder five years ago to become an agent, said she felt "the time was right to move to a bigger agency and one that would embrace the more commercial angle of the authors I represent.”
Jonny Geller, m.d. of Curtis Brown's books department, welcomed Crowley as "a fabulous addition to our team", praising "her amazing list of authors".
Tasmina Perry, Jojo Moyes, Santa Montefiore, Melissa Hill and Rachel Hore are among the writers who will transfer from A P Watt with Crowley.
