Dundee is Borders shop of the year

Dundee has scooped the store of the year award at Borders UK Conference Awards 2008. The awards honour the best of the 41 Borders superstores and 17 high street and airport bookshops under the Books Etc and Borders Express brands.
This years conference was held at the Holiday Inn Bloomsbury in central London on Tuesday.
The full list of winners are as follows:
Bookseller of the Year 2008 (sponsored by Pan Macmillan)
Winner: Phoebe O’Reilly Rowe (Oxford Street)
Store Support Office Team of the Year 2008
Winner: Systems Replacement Project Team
Store Manager of the Year 2008 (sponsored by Hachette Livre)
Winner: David Marshall (Glasgow)
Children’s Specialist of the Year 2008
Winner: Christina Smith (Watford)
Best Local Store Progamme of the Year 2008 (sponsored by Tangent Labs)
Winner: Newbury
Store of the Year 2008 (sponsored by Random House)
