Arlidge pens original audio drama for Audible

Audible has released an original audio drama written by Matt J Arlidge and starring actors Andrew Scott, Freema Agyeman and Hermione Norris.

"Six Degrees of Assassination" is a five-hour political thriller series written specifically for Audible and following an MI5 investigation into the assassination of the British Prime Minister.

Two months after the general election that saw his government returned to power with a clear majority, the PM is shot while visiting a charity in East London and MI5 chief counter terrorism officer Alex Cartwright, played by Scott, must discover what happened.

Agyeman plays Cartwright’s main ally in Thames House, MI5 counter terrorism officer Ellen Townsend, while Norris is the Prime Minister’s wife, Sandra Campbell. Also starring are Julian Rhind-Tutt, Geraldine Somerville and Clive Mantle.

Arlidge is the author of the Helen Grace detective series published by Penguin and has written for TV drama series "Silent Witness".
