Barton's Widow set for screen

Production company Playground has TV rights to Fiona Barton’s The Widow (Bantam) and Thomas Grant’s biography Jeremy Hutchinson’s Case Histories (John Murray).

Its m.d., Louise Pedersen, said: “We bought both books at manuscript stage and we are confident that both titles will make compelling TV adaptations.”
