Jeff Bezos has sold 1% of his stake in Amazon - which is just over a million shares, at a value of $671m (£465.2m) - the New York Post has reported.
Bezos, who founded Amazon in 1995, now owns 81.91m shares of Amazon, which is just over 17% of the business. These shares are worth over $54bn (£37.4bn) at Amazon’s stock price of around $661 (£458.1) on Friday (6th May).
Bezos also sold a million shares last August, netting $534m as the stock was worth less at the time.
