Bloomsbury has signed the natural history list from New Holland publishers, a total of more than 200 titles.
The list will be integrated into Bloomsbury's own natural history publishing, which currently includes the Christopher Helm ornithology list, the T&D Poyser imprint, and RSPB books, as well as Jonathan Kingdom's six volume Mammals of Africa.
The New Holland list includes books by Steve Backshall, Bill Oddie, Chris Packham and Mark Carwardine, as well as Wildlife Trust Concise Guides.
Nigel Redman, head of natural history for Bloomsbury, said: "[New Holland] titles complement the Bloomsbury natural history imprints perfectly and together form the world’s largest list of natural history books."
