Bloomsbury is launching 'First Birds', nature charity The RSPB's first app for children.
Developed in conjunction with Aimer Media, 'First Birds' has been described as "a brilliant introduction to birds, for all small spotters".
The "fully interactive" app, enables children to engage with the wildlife around them by colouring in birds, tracing outlines, watching video footage, and listening to their songs. The app also helps children to learn "fascinating" first facts, and add bright, animated stickers to wildlife scenes.
The app is priced at £3.99 and is compatible with all Apple iPad and iPhone devices.
The RSPB is the country's largest nature conservation charity, inspiring everyone to give nature a home so that birds and wildlife can thrive again.
The app is based on Bloomsbury's RSPB First Birds book series.
