Bonnier hires Felicity Johnston as children’s commissioning editor

Bonnier Zaffre has hired Felicity Johnston as its new commissioning editor at children’s imprints Hot Key Books and Piccadilly Press. She replaces Tilda Johnson, who is leaving the company in August. 

Johnston is currently a commissioning editor of children’s fiction and non fiction at Hachette Children’s Group and will join Bonnier in September.

Tilda Johnson is leaving Bonnier to go travelling before setting herself up as a freelance editor.

Jane Harris, executive director for children's fiction, said: “We are sad that Tilda is leaving, but completely understand the appeal to go and see the world. Tilda has been a valued member of the editorial department and has been instrumental in contributing to the success of growing Hot Key Books and Piccadilly Press since joining in 2014. We are delighted to welcome Fliss to the team who will commission across both imprints.”
