Boyle joins Pickled Ink agency

Helen Boyle, a literary scout and magazine editor, is joining Pickled Ink as an agent.

In the new role she will build a literary list as well as will help manage the illustration portfolio. She will start in July and look for books for ages from 5+ up to YA. 

Charlie Bowden, m.d. of Picked Ink, said: “We cannot think of a better person to join Pickled Ink than Helen; her knowledge of the children’s book market is second to none and her enthusiasm, diligence and flair mean she will complement the agency hugely. Boyle, who has previously worked at Sylvie Zannier Literary Scouting and Templar, added: “I’m delighted to join the Pickled Ink family. It’s an exciting and energetic agency, with an eye for quality. How could I resist the opportunity to work with their existing illustrators and the chance to nurture a small, boutique list of authors?”

She will continue to edit WRD magazine, a publication about children’s books for library supplier Peters Books.
