"Breaking Bad" actor Bryan Cranston's penchant for buying, signing and leaving copies of his autobiography in every airport he has flown from for his book tour has this week resulted in a welcome surprise for a fan in Heathrow airport.
Cranston first started gifting uniquely signed copies of his autobiography, A Life In Parts (Orion), on the US leg of his book tour, where he would buy his book from the airport's bookshop, leave a full dated note inside and replace it on bookshop's shelf to be found.
This week he has done the same in WHSmith's terminal 5 branch, according to Orion, after a week-long stint of promotion in the UK before his flight out of Heathrow yesterday morning (27th October).
Kate de Ban from Oxford, who found the book in Terminal 5, Heathrow airport, tweeted Cranston yesterday: "Thanks for the book... what a lovely thing to do... that's certainly the best thing that's happened to me at an airport."

Cranston will be on "The Graham Norton Show" tonight (29th October) with Eddie Redmayne, Benedict Cumberbatch and LeAnn Rimes.
Cranston's publicist at Orion, Virginia Woolstencroft, commented: "It has been a real treat working with an author as genuine and as thoughtful as Bryan Cranston. The airport book idea is typical of him. In A Life In Parts he tells a story of when he, aged 18, was disappointed on meeting a hero of his. This memory, he says, reminds him to always make time for fans and to appreciate their support. The response to Bryan in the UK has been phenomenal and I’m so pleased as it couldn’t happen to a nicer or more humble author."
A Life In Parts published in the UK on 20th October 2016.
