Buster Books, the children’s imprint of Michael O’Mara Books, has launched a free colouring app.
Creative Colouring contains colour-by-numbers activities, dot to dots and colour-code puzzles. The user taps on an area of the screen to apply block colour or uses a pen tool to create lines and swirls.
The app has various levels of difficulty so is suitable for all age ranges, according to Buster.
Eva Arnold, digital sales co-ordinator at Buster Books, said: “We wanted to create a fun and inspiring colouring app for children, with a layout that reflects the beauty of our print titles. The app is packed with varied colouring challenges that encourage kids to switch on and get creative. There's an educational element to many of the colouring pages, which – for many parents - helps to justify time spent in front of a screen.”
Children will also be able to save multiple versions of the same image and post them on social media.
Creative Colouring is the second colouring-in app from Michael O’Mara Books, which also created Colour Therapy for adults last year. Both apps are compatible with iPad, iPhone and iPod and are available to download at from the Apple store.
