Buster to publish reference series

Buster Books, the children’s imprint of Michael O’Mara Books, is launching a reference series.

The series will comprise nine titles about subjects such as history, maths, science and geography, starting with Off With Their Heads!: All the Cool Bits in British History by Martin Oliver and I Wish I Knew That: Cool Stuff You Need to Know by Steve Martin in January.

Seven more books will be released through the year, all priced at £5.99.

Philippa Wingate, publishing director at Buster Books, said: “The books present information in bite-sized chunks, in a fun and accessible way, enlivened with quirky illustration. We want to provide useful learning aids that will spark children’s interest, sharpen their skills and support their studies.”

Future titles will include From Zero to Infinity: Cool Maths Stuff You Need to Know by Dr Mike Goldsmith in March and Geography Without the Boring Bits by James Doyle in May.
