Simon & Schuster Children’s Books UK is bringing Cassandra Clare to the UK in April to promote her new YA novel, Lady Midnight.
The tour will start on 16th April with an event in the Leicester Square Theatre, organised by Waterstones, where fans will be treated to Clare talking about her book, as well as activities such as makeovers.
Clare will then visit Waterstones, WHSmiths and Easons bookshops in Birmingham, Leeds, Milton Keynes, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dublin, with the tour ending 21st April.
Lady Midnight is the first book in The Dark Artifices, a new trilogy that is part of the Shadowhunters series and a companion to six-book series The Mortal Instruments, which is currently being shown as a TV series on Netflix.
Mortal Instruments, which began with City of Bones in 2007, has sold more than a million copies in the UK and Clare has reached sales of £6.65m in UK bookshops, according to Nielsen BookScan.
Lady Midnight will be published in the UK on 8th March (p/b, £11.99).
