Coronet has signed a three-book-deal with Lorna Byrne, author of Angels in My Hair.
Mark Booth, publisher of Coronet, an imprint of Hodder & Stoughton, agreed the deal for British and Commonwealth rights excluding Canada from Pearl Mackey.
Byrne has previously published Angels in My Hair with Arrow and Message of Hope to the Angels with Coronet.
The first book in the deal is called The Way of the Angels and will be published in 2017. The later titles are a book on prayer and book of children’s stories.
Booth said: “Lorna is unique. There may not be anyone like her alive in the world today. The American theologian Matthew Fox compares her to the medieval mystic Hildegard of Bingen, and I think that may be a closer comparison than other authors in the field. The depth and detail of her knowledge of angels and other spiritual beings and realms is unique, and The Way of the Angels will take her revelations to a whole new level.”
