Black & White Publishing has acquired a new novel by Irish writer and actress Caroline Grace-Cassidy.
Campbell Brown, c.e.o. of Black & White Publishing, signed world rights to the novel The Week I Ruined My Life.
The book follows Ali Devlin who gives up on her marriage despite not being sure it is exactly what she wants to do. When her actions cause her husband to commit an "unforgivable" act, she is left "reeling" and begins to question whether her life was "really so bad after all."
Grace-Cassidy said: "I am absolutely thrilled to have signed with Black & White Publishing – and that they are so behind my fifth novel, The Week I Ruined My Life. Bringing me to a grittier place in my work – this novel is a dark look at a failing marriage but a bright look on a woman starting over. Questioning if the happily-ever-after is always, only, within ourselves."
Grace-Cassidy's previous novels were published in Ireland by Poolbeg Press.
The Week I Ruined My Life will be published in June 2016.
