Yellow Kite is publishing a series of mini books by Deliciously Ella this September.
Liz Gough at Yellow Kite bought two new books by Ella Mills (née Woodward) from agent Cathryn Summerhayes at WME.
The books will be part of a new series that celebrates Deliciously Ella’s bestselling natural eating philosophy, launching with a title on smoothies and juices on 22nd September, priced £9.99. Deliciously Ella's Smoothies & Juices will feature 30 new recipes for those looking for "healthy ways to power up their day". The next book in the series will follow in spring 2017.
Gough said: "It is really exciting to be publishing a new Deliciously Ella book this autumn – given the phenomenal success of her first two books and the exciting plans we have for her third book in January 2017, this feels like a great moment to be offering her legions of fans 30 all-new recipes in a brand new format. Written in Ella’s trademark light and friendly style, this gorgeous little book will tempt anyone considering adding fruit- and veg-rich smoothies and juices into their diet the Deliciously Ella way."
Mills, the author behind Deliciously Ella, said: "I’m so excited about this mini book, it’s such a fun way to share new recipes with readers and I can’t wait to show everyone all the delicious smoothie and juice recipes I’ve been coming up with."
In addition to the series of mini books, Ella’s third stand-alone cookbook Deliciously Ella with Friends: Healthy recipes to love, share and enjoy together will be published in January 2017.
Ella’s breakout success, Deliciously Ella (Yellow Kite, January 2015) is claimed to be the UK's biggest selling debut cookbook of all time. Nielsen BookScan reports sales of 296,000 copies to date, and her follow-up book, Deliciously Ella Every Day (Yellow Kite, January 2016) has sold 126,000 copies since publication in January 2016.
