Rogue One: A Star Wars Story global publishing programme rolled out
DK has unveiled its Rogue One: A Star Wars Story global publishing programme today (16th December), following the film's nationwide release this week.
The publisher's Rogue One titles, incuding Star Wars: Rogue One™ : The Ultimate Visual Guide, promise "the ultimate fan experience", providing readers with a comprehensive look at the film in "unparalleled detail" and covering everything from the new characters to the latest technologies and vehicles.
The programme, boasting "high impact" art alongside authoratative text, comprises three books: The Ultimate Visual Guide; Secret Mission; and The Ultimate Sticker Encyclopedia.
Star Wars: Rogue One™: The Ultimate Visual Guide is described as an "essential, comprehensive" guide to Rogue One, featuring in-depth character profiles and five newly-commissioned and fully annotated cross-sections of vehicles and mapped-out locations. It is is authored by Pablo Hidalgo, a creative executive at the Lucasfilm Story Group. Part of his job is to ensure consistency across Star Wars projects and he has written several DK titles including most recently Star Wars: The Force Awakens™ The Visual Dictionary. The book publishes in hardcover today (16th December), priced £17.99.
DK Reader L4: Star Wars: Rogue One™: Secret Mission is authored by New York Times bestselling author Jason Fry. It combines DK’s four-level reading program with the Star Wars franchise. The story narrative is supported with interactive genre spreads and questions to encourage children to access information from a range of sources and develop comprehension skills. It published in paperback today (16th December) priced £4.99.
Star Wars: Rogue One™: The Ultimate Sticker Encyclopedia fuses "fun and informative" captions with a range of sticker activities. It includes more than 1,000 full-colour stickers, showcasing a full range of Star Wars characters, along with vehicles and locations "out-of-this-world of adventure". It publishes today (16th December), priced £7.99.
