Egmont has a Ball with Fang-tastic trilogy

Egmont won a “fiercely fought” auction to secure a trilogy for readers aged 7+ about a “big-hearted vampiress”, created by author/illustrator Laura Ellen Anderson.

Fiction publishing director Ali Dougal signed the deal for world rights with Helen Boyle from illustration agency Pickled Ink.

The first in the series, Amelia Fang and the Barbaric Ball, will be published in October with its sequel due in March 2018, and the final title in October 2018.

The series was sold to Egmont Germany in a five-figure pre-empt, and a Dutch deal was struck with Balloon Media.
