Friedman joins Quarto Group

Wendy Friedman has been appointed as the new vice president, director of international sales for The Quarto Group.

Friedman has over 30 years' experience in sales, marketing and senior executive roles in the publishing industry. She joins Quarto from Parragon where she has spent the last 16 years in a variety of roles, most recently as president/CCO Parragon Global. Previously, she was v.p. sales and marketing at Modern Publishing, and before that was at Smithmark Publishing.

Reporting to chief operating officer Ken Fund, Friedman will be responsible for growing the group's English Language international sales across the globe. She will join Quarto in the Summer and will be based in its New York City office.

The global sales and marketing division recently underwent a restructure which saw the  English Language Sales team divided into three main channels: US Sales, UK and Europe Sales, and International Sales.
