The Good Book Guide is to continue publication after being acquired by Blackpool businessman Graham Holmes.
Previous owner Richard Hicks called in the liquidators in July, after a hiatus in publication of the magazine and some unfulfilled book orders.
However the next issue of the Guide is now due to go out to subscribers at the start of September. The Guide's previous editor Fiona Lafferty has been made editorial director, with Megan Smith appointed customer services manager.
Holmes said: "The goodwill of our subscribers is very important to us and one of Megan’s first tasks will be to sort through all outstanding orders and letters to identify orders that have not been processed."
He added: "I would like to assure subscribers that we are working hard to get things back on an even keel as quickly as possible. We have already been in touch with those whose email addresses we have and are heartened by their continued loyalty and support.
"This is just the start of what I hope will be a long and happy association with the Good Book Guide."
The Guide’s order processing department has moved to Blackpool and can be contacted at orders@thegoodbookguide.com. The editorial office will be based in Winchester.
