HarperCollins’ audiobook catalogue will now be available on a pay-per-use basis on bibliotheca’s cloudLibrary.
bibliotheca allows library users to read or listen to books remotely through its cloudLibrary. It launched the pay-per-use model last year, offering audiobooks from publishers such as Simon & Schuster, Hachette, Blackstone, Disney, and Scholastic.
Thomas Mercer, director of digital products for bibliotheca, said: “Our latest agreement with HarperCollins continues our commitment to provide the best content and experiences to our customers.”
He added that bibliotheca allows library users to place materials they want on hold until they become available.
cloudLibrary’s pay-per-use collection currently offers more than 20,000 digital audiobooks with plans to include e-books in the future.
