HarperCollins has launched an outdoor marketing campaign for A Sticky Note Guide to Life by cartoonist Instachaaz (Chaz Hutton).
As with Hutton's instagram account, @instachaaz, A Sticky Note Guide to Life takes "tongue-in-cheek observations of life and crudely illustrates them on small pieces of yellow paper".
The campaign started last weekend with two 48-sheet billboards featuring blown-up cartoons in Dalston and Shoreditch. A further batch of advertisements will go up on the 21st November for two weeks across London - including in Brixton, Clapham, Shoreditch and Hackney - with new designs for each that will tie into the individual location.
Partnering with creative outdoor agency Jack Arts, HarperCollins has worked with Hutton to create adverts featuring different designs. On "Map of Every City" (below), which went live over the weekend, passers by could draw onto the advert and add their own areas to the map. Another billboard in Shoreditch features a giant graph drawn on a post-it charting the "Popularity of a Thing".
