Henry Lord, senior publicity manager at Bloomsbury, is joining the communications team for Bluebird at Pan Macmillan.
Lord, who brings with him more than 12 years experience across editorial and publicity departments, will bring the lifestyle imprint's communications team up to four members when he joins on Tuesday (5th September) as senior publicity manager.
At Bloomsbury, Lord ran PR campaigns across a variety of genres, including health and wellness, sport, cookery and general non-fiction lists. He worked on Breaking Mad! by Anna Williamson, Mark Forsyth's The Etymologicon and helped re-position the Wisden Cricketers' Almanack.
Lord will report into Jodie Mullish, communications director, and work alongside publicist Jessica Farrugia Sharples with the assistance of Ana Symecko, communications executive.
Bluebird, launched by publisher Carole Tonkinson in 2015, has attracted high-profile authors like comedian Russell Brand and Joe Wicks, both of whom attended the imprint's star-studded 2017 preview last year.
