'Queen of the Jungle' Vicky Pattison has renewed with Sphere to publish three new books across both non-fiction and fiction.
Sphere struck a deal to embark on a new three-year publishing programme with the TV star across both non-fiction and fiction, to publish new edition of her autobiography, a fashion, fitness and food guide for "real women" and a new novel.
First to publish as part of the deal is a new edition of Pattison's autobiography, Nothing But the Truth, to be released on 3rd March. It will be updated with "behind-the-scenes jungle gossip" from her time on the most recent series of reality TV show "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here".
Second is The Real Me: Fashion, Fitness and Food Tips for Real Women – From Me to You, publishing on 14th July 2016 in full-colour trade paperback and ebook. The book is described a a "fully illustrated guide to all things Vicky", including honest advice on style and health, complete with "wicked one-liners".
Third is a new novel, as yet untitled, to be published in hardback in spring 2017 and paperback in autumn 2017. It is described as "a witty and savvy read for the commercial women’s fiction market, full of the smart and entertaining comebacks Vicky is renowned for".
In a joint deal, Sphere Non-Fiction editorial director Hannah Boursnell and Sphere Fiction senior editor Manpreet Grewal bought world rights in the new books from Gemma Wheatley at Mokkingbird Management.
Sphere has published all of Pattison's previous books, which includes the original edition of the Number One Sunday Times bestselling Nothing But the Truth and her two novels All that Glitters and A Christmas Kiss. Vicky was crowned I’m a Celebrity’s Queen of the Jungle at the end of 2015.
