It’s a barbe world for Odedina and début Dane

Sarah Odedina, editor-at-large at Pushkin Children’s Books, has acquired world rights to a début novel of “hope, belief and familial bonds” direct from its Danish author, H S Norup.

The literary novel, for readers aged eight to 12, follows a girl who becomes embroiled in a fast-paced adventure to save one of the last barbegazi (an alpine, faerie-type creature), all while the condition of her unwell grandmother deteriorates.
