Katie Bond is to take voluntary redundancy at Bloomsbury following a restructure of the company’s marketing and publicity department.
The role of director of trade marketing and publicity, which Bond currently holds, will “not be part of the department structure going forward”, a statement from the company said.
Instead group sales and marketing director Kathleen Farrar will take on the trade marketing and publicity leadership following Bond’s departure.
Bond, who has been with Bloomsbury for 14 years, will leave the company on Thursday 13th March.
She said: "After 14 amazing years at Bloomsbury, I've taken voluntary redundancy and am looking forward to the next adventure. I will always treasure working with such wonderful authors and colleagues."
Bond worked on high-profile campaigns for a raft of authors including Susanna Clarke, Donna Tartt and Khaled Hosseini, plus the campaigns for J K Rowling's Harry Potter series.
Bloomsbury said she had “brought dynamism, crackling energy and an infectious spirit of positivity" to every campaign she handled.
