The festival will run from Thursday 23rd to Sunday 26th October, with Keane and Doyle appearing on the evening of Saturday 25th to discuss their recent collaboration, Keane’s autobiography The Second Half (Weidenfeld & Nicolson), which was published on 9th October and sold 21,064 copies last week.
Retired Welsh rugby star Gareth Thomas and Olympic cycling gold-medallist Nicole Cooke will also appear to talk about their autobiographies, both of which were longlisted for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award earlier this month.
This is the second year of the London Sports Writing Festival. It is hosted by literary agency David Luxton Associates and Marylebone Cricket Club, and supported by the London Evening Standard. The full line up of events and speakers can be found at its website.
