LGBT parent guidebook to Pinter & Martin

Independent publisher Pinter & Martin has acquired Pride & Joy: A Guide For Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Parents by Sarah Eve Hagger-Holt and Dr Rachel Rose Hagger-Holt.

Martin Wagner, managing director at Pinter & Martin acquired world rights in all languages for Pride & Joy from the authors directly.

Pride & Joy is a practical, supportive and up-to-date guide covering a range of issues relevant to LGBT parents including adoption, surrogacy, co-parenting, gender identity and cross-cultural parenting.

Dr Rachel Rose Hagger-Holt said: "Rapid social and legal changes have meant that every year more and more lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) people are becoming parents and living proud and open family lives. We believe that Pride & Joy will provide a practical, positive handbook for LGBT families seeking advice, reassurance and a sense of community, as well as a vital guide for professionals, friends and extended families seeking to support such families. Pinter and Martin will publish Pride & Joy in Spring 2017.
