LKP collaborates with Little White Lies for books and gifts line

Laurence King Publishing (LKP) has joined forces with independent film magazine, Little White Lies, to collaborate on a new line of movie-themed books and gifts.  

Established in 2005, Little White Lies is a bi-monthly, independent movie magazine that features journalism, design and illustration.

The new line launches in September 2017 with The Little White Lies Guide to Making Your Own Movie and The Little White Lies Movie Memory Game. Movie Karma Sutra and a number of other collaborations will follow in 2018.

The Little White Lies line, which has been commissioned by Marc Valli, head of art and gift at LKP, will continue the magazines’ emphasis on cutting-edge design and illustration, with a playful and creative edge.

Valli commented: “Over the last 10 years Little White Lies has become known for it's unique tone of voice and illustrative  style, which we believe translates well into books and gifts. These two lines are being created and developed collaboratively, with ideas coming from both teams. We hope that the resulting books and gifts prove to be strong and unique, and demonstrate a new way of approaching the subject of film within publishing.”
