HC's Dauman moves to Sphere

Lucy Dauman, assistant editor at HarperCollins for crime and thrillers, is joining Little, Brown Book Group as commissioning editor at Sphere Fiction.

Dauman will focus on acquiring crime fiction, reporting to publisher and executive director Cath Burke, and will begin in her new role on Monday 10th October.

She said: "It’s been an absolute pleasure working at HarperCollins over the last few years, where I have been lucky enough to meet wonderful colleagues and authors. But I am hugely excited to be joining the team at Sphere – their dynamism and creativity are inspiring, as are the authors they publish, and I can’t wait to find new talent to bring to the list."

Burke added: "I could not be more delighted that Lucy is joining the editorial team at Sphere.
