Scribe has signed Revolution, a memoir and political testament by France's recently-elected president Emmanuel Macron.
The publisher acquired world English-language rights from Roxana Cristina Zaharia at XO Editions at auction.
Revolution was first published in France in November last year. It has also just been acquired by publishers in Holland and Spain.
Scribe’s publisher, Henry Rosenbloom, said: "I’m thrilled to have acquired this book. I see it as a French Audacity of Hope – a very well-written, compelling memoir and statement of values by an important political leader who has rapidly become the flag-bearer for a new kind of politics."
Scribe will commission the English-language translation, and will publish the book "as soon as possible".
