Rachel Mills is leaving literary agency PFD after five and a half years.
Mills is set to take on a new job in agenting, to be revealed in due course. Alexandra Cliff, senior rights agent in the International Rights Department at PFD, will take on the role of international rights director following Mills’ departure.
Caroline Michel, c.e.o at PFD, said: “Rachel has been an inspirational colleague and has created the best international rights division in the business. I am delighted that Alexandra and her colleagues, Marilia Savvides and Rebecca Wearmouth, will be continuing and growing the international rights business in the future.”
Nelle Andrew will also take on an additional role, alongside her role as agent, selling rights in the US alongside Cliff.
Mills said: “PFD couldn’t have a more dynamic and effective International rights team; I will miss my colleagues and all the PFD authors greatly.”
