Hot Key Books has signed a six-figure deal for three books from TV presenter and writer Dawn O'Porter.
The publisher will release two novels from O'Porter, as well as a hardback tie-in to her forthcoming Channel 4 show, "This Old Thing", about vintage clothing.
Hot Key Books signed UK and Commonwealth rights to This Old Thing, due to be released alongside the programme's transmission in 2014, and world rights to two novels, which will be released in spring 2015 and 2016. The publisher has previously released YA title Paper Aeroplanes by O'Porter, and is due to publish follow-up Goose in May 2014.
Emily Thomas, publisher at Hot Key Books, said: "Dawn has certainly proved herself to be a writer with a unique and compelling voice, and one that stands out in the YA and crossover marketplace as wholly authentic, and utterly compelling. She really speaks to her female audience with her refusal to gloss over the issues that they face both in adolescence and in adulthood and openly and very entertainingly lay them bare."
