Natalie Jerome is joining Kings Road Publishing, a division of Bonnier Publishing, as brand and licensing director.
Jerome, who is currently publisher for non-fiction at HarperCollins, will take up the newly-created role in January and report to c.e.o. Perminder Mann. She will work across the divisions adult and children’s divisions and be responsible for brand development.
“I'm thrilled to be joining the incredibly impressive and dynamic team at Bonnier Publishing,” she said. “Under the leadership of Perminder, Kings Road Publishing is going from strength to strength. Non-Fiction is going through an interesting period of reinvention right now and Bonnier Publishing is rightly at the forefront of this social media-driven wave. I'm excited to see the list develop and grow in all areas and genuinely can't wait to get started.”
Jerome has spent nine years at HarperCollins, publishing titles from celebrities such as Alan Carr, Chris Evans and One Direction. Earlier this month she wrote an essay for The Bookseller encouraging publishers to hire more BAME editors.
Mann said: “Natalie has an enviable track record having worked with some of the world’s biggest brands - I’m so excited she is joining us at a pivotal moment in our growth.”
