The latest in the Jason Bourne adventure series, Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Enigma, will be published by Head of Zeus this summer.
Nicolas Cheetham, publisher at Head of Zeus, acquired UK and Commonwealth rights excluding Canada to the book, written by Eric Van Lustbader, from Danny Baror at Baror International.
This is the thirteenth instalment in a series has sold 300 million copies globally, the publisher has said. It will be published worldwide this summer at the same time as the release of the new Bourne film starring Matt Damon and directed by Paul Greengrass titled "Jason Bourne".
Cheetham said: "We are delighted to have acquired the new Bourne blockbuster. Head of Zeus have been publishing Eric Van Lustbader very successfully for the past three years and it is exciting to have extended the relationship to this bestselling franchise."
The original Bourne novels were written by Robert Ludlum. The series was continued by Van Lustbader following Ludlum's death in 2001. The series was previously published by Orion.
