Ebury Publishing imprint BBC Books will be publishing a new cookbook from TV personality Mary Berry in January.
Jake Lingwood, publisher and deputy managing director at Ebury Publishing, bought world rights from Fiona Lindsay at Limelight Celebrity Management Ltd.
Mary Berry Everyday will tie into a "major" new six-part BBC2 series and will feature all the recipes from the new show. The book will also feature a "gorgeous" collection of new photographs of Berry cooking at home. With 120 "delicious, dependable" recipes, Berry will show readers how to "make every meal special". In addition, features on planning ahead, shopping well and using up leftovers, will help readers make "delicious food every day of the week".
Berry said: "This book is all about celebrating everyday food, I am constantly inspired by new flavours and new ingredients and I can’t wait to share these new recipes in my book and the accompanying BBC TV series. This is the fourth TV tie in book with Ebury which is a joy".
Lingwood said: "A new book from Mary is always a real treat and her next TV series looks like it will be her best yet. We are absolutely thrilled to continue to be Mary’s publisher – she has never been more popular. I’m sure that the book trade can look forward to some serious mega-sales in early 2017."
Berry's last cookbook Foolproof Cooking (BBC Books) has sold 217,885 hardbacks for £2.79m via Nielsen BookScan since publication in January.
