Vintage has partnered with MBNA Thames Clippers boats to mark the publication of Ruth Ware’s new thriller, The Woman in Cabin 10 (Harvill Secker).
Passengers and commuters aboard MBNA Thames Clippers services will today (30th June) be treated to an exclusive special edition of the book, free chapter samplers, and a 30 second TV advert will broadcast throughout the day across the fleet, tying into the book's cruise ship theme.
The Woman in Cabin 10 sees travel journalist Lo Blacklock set sail on a press trip aboard a luxury cruise liner. When she witnesses a body thrown overboard her fellow passengers won’t believe her and she faces a race against time to discover the truth before she becomes the next victim.
Social activity will run across Penguin Random House, Vintage and MBNA Thames Clippers channels, @DeadGoodBooks @VintageBooks and @Thamesclippers.
Ware's debut psychological thriller In a Dark, Dark Wood was shortlisted for the title of Debut Novel of the Year at The Bookseller Industry Awards this year after hitting the bestseller lists in the UK and US, and Reese Witherspoon buying rights to the film.
The Woman in Cabin 10 publishes on 30th June 2016, in hardback, e-book and audio book, priced £9.99.
