Parragon signs Matt Hatter licensing deal
Parragon is publishing a series of books based on the "Matt Hatter Chronicles" brand, after signing a licensing deal with Platinum Films.
Under the terms of the deal, Parragon will publish colouring, sticker, activity and story books in the UK, Australia and South Africa in 2015.
The "Matt Hatter Chronicles" is an animated TV show, created by Platinum Films, about Matt Hatter, a schoolboy whose life is changed forever when he discovers that his family defends a gateway to a different dimension called the Multiverse. The show is broadcast in 80 countries around the world and is shown in the UK on ITV.
Platinum has 17 other licence partners in the UK, including Penguin,which is publishing a series of Matt Hatter fiction titles under Ladybird imprint.
Other partners include Simba Dickie (toys), Smith and Brooks (clothes), Tactic Games (puzzles) and London Europe (stationery).
