Penguin Random House in the UK and in the US are today (17th December) announcing new international sales-leadership structures for continental Europe.
PRH US’s Cyrus Kheradi, s.v.p., director, international sales and marketing, has named Anke Reichelt as regional sales director for Europe.
Reichelt, who is based in Berlin ,will lead an entirely U.S-publishing-focused European team with dedicated selling responsibilities for the Penguin and Random House publishing groups, as well as Penguin Random House publisher service clients.
Cristi Navarro has been appointed as sales development manager for Europe and the Middle East, Penguin Random House US, based in New York.
An announcement about the UK leadership structure is due imminently.
PRH UK has made a series of changes to its sales structure over recent months.
In November it announced it was shutting its Penguin Benelux and France and Penguin Germany offices () and creating two new international teams working across all PRH UK’s publishing lists.
In June it was announced that Simon Littlewood, Random House’s international sales director, was leaving the company because no “mutually suitable role” could be found for him in PRH. This was followed the next month by an announcement about the restructuring of PRH’s field sales team.
