PRH staffer's early-years journal delivered to MOM

Penguin Random House Children’s publishing director Shannon Cullen has signed with Michael O’Mara to publish a journal for parents after a “very competitive” auction.

MOM publisher Clare Tillyer acquired UK and Commonwealth rights, from Rory Scarfe at Furniss Lawton, to I’m Wrecked, This is My Journal, and will publish in March 2017.

The book, also pre-empted in four European territories, will feature space—alongside funny comments, quotes and lists—for parents to “capture odd thoughts and early-years information, from your [longing for your] favourite cocktail to your baby’s hand-print in nappy cream”.

Mother of two Cullen said: “I’m thrilled that the team at Michael O’Mara responded so enthusiastically. I hope my journal will be a playful but genuine keepsake for parents to reflect on the roller-coaster of raising a human being.”
