‘The Professors of Hogwarts’ will be the theme of next year’s Harry Potter Book Night, which will take place on 2nd February.
The event will be based around the teachers of Hogwarts, who include Dumbledore, Snape and McGonagall.
Bloomsbury said: “They say that the influence of a good teacher can never be erased so who better to celebrate on Harry Potter Book Night than those who taught Harry Potter and his friends many magical skills.
“Whether it was the suave charm of Gilderoy Lockhart or the dark complexity of Severus Snape, many of the professors of Hogwarts had a huge impact on Harry Potter’s adventures.”
According to Bloomsbury, there were more than 24,000 Harry Potter Book Night events in 2015 and 2016, with fans taking part in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Singapore, Germany, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Mexico, India, Ireland, Norway, Romania, Russia, South Africa,Thailand, Ukraine and the US.
