Quadrille has signed a book of "foolproof" recipes from Spanish chef Omar Allibhoy, chef and founder behind the Tapas Revolution restaurants.
Allibhoy was hailed the “Antonio Banderas of cooking” by Gordon Ramsay who he once worked for in London. He first worked for Ferran Adrià in Spain and later progressed to head chef at El Pirata Detapas in Notting Hill, London. He has since opened five Tapas Revolution restaurants in Shoreditch, Westfield, Bluewater, Birmingham and Sheffield.
Spanish Made Simple: Foolproof Spanish recipes for every day is Allibhoy's second book, after publishing his first, Tapas Revolution, with Ebury in 2013. The book of 100 recipes is designed to showcase the best of everyday Spanish food and to show it is within the grasp of every home cook.
Publishing director Sarah Lavelle signed world rights from Dan Waite at MIG Management.
Lavelle said: "The simplicity of the recipes belies the depth of flavour and character of Omar’s cooking; he makes Spanish food effortless and utterly enticing for the home cook."
Allibhoy said: "I'm delighted to be working with Sarah again on my second book and thrilled to have the opportunity to share some of my favourite home cooked, authentic Spanish recipes."
Spanish Made Simple will publish on 22nd September in hardback, £20.
