The Quarto Group has announced changes to its leadership structure with three new positions, including a promotion for Ken Fund to the role of chief operating officer.
Fund, who has worked at Quarto for 15 years, will lead the company’s commercial management team in the role of c.o.o, in charge of global publishing operations, global IT infrastructure, and the sales teams.
He is promoted from the position of president and c.e.o. of Quarto Publishing Group USA.
David Breuer, currently director of Quarto International Co-editions Group, is becoming chief creative officer of The Quarto Group, where he will lead the creative management of the business. He joined Quarto in 2011 and previously worked for the art publisher Phaidon Press.
Finally, David Inman is taking up a role as managing director of the company’s entrepreneurial business, Quarto Partners. He will look after Quarto’s distributions services in the US and UK and manage the publisher’s joint ventures around the world.
Inman joined Quarto as sales and marketing director in 2009 before returning as m.d. of Quarto Publishing Group UK in 2013, following a period with Templar Publishing.
Marcus Leaver, c.e.o. of The Quarto Group, said: “Ken, David and David have been trusted senior leaders of Quarto for many years and I have every faith in them to make these new roles a success. These changes all support the next chapter of Quarto’s story, which we will fully unveil later this year.”
