Sarah Manning, formerly an agent at United Talent Agency, is joining the Bent Agency today (3rd January).
In her new role Manning will focus on commercial and accessible literary adult fiction, narrative nonfiction and memoir. Her appointment also marks a move into adult fiction and non-fiction for the Bent Agency in the UK.
Manning's move follows news this morning (3rd January) that former United Talent agent Juliet Mushens has also left the firm to found her own agency with former PFD agent Robert Caskie.
Manning said: “I’m really looking forward to starting my new role at the Bent Agency and I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to expand its reach in the UK. (It is) a dynamic agency with a hands-on approach that I hugely admire and I’m excited by the challenges ahead.”
The Bent Agency was founded in 2009 and is based in the UK and the US. It managers several bestselling children’s authors including Robin Stevens and Bonnie-Sue Hitchcook.
